We were joined by artist Ian Nesbitt and the social eating project Open Kitchen Social Club at City of Sanctuary, an organisation that seeks to build a culture of welcome and hospitality for refugees and asylum-seekers. Together, we shared food and talked with community members about what a hospitable environment looks and feels like, in face of an increasingly hostile context in the UK, and what the climate crisis might mean in terms of forced migration.
