open kitchen social club at city of sanctuary

We were joined by artist Ian Nesbitt and the social eating project Open Kitchen Social Club at City of Sanctuary, an organisation that seeks to build a culture of welcome and hospitality for refugees and asylum-seekers. Together, we shared food and talked with community members about what a hospitable environment looks and feels like, in face of an increasingly hostile context in the UK, and what the climate crisis might mean in terms of forced migration.
